Hello,

a bit about me:

I began taking dance classes at the age of two and have extensive training in jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, modern, and precision dance. While attending Clear Creek High School, I joined the Cavaliers dance team, where I served as 1st Senior Lieutenant and was also selected for Jazz Company, Kick Company, and Hip Hop Company.

I graduated from Texas State University in 2015 with a Bachelors degree in Mass Communications, and minor in art. While attending college I was a member of the Texas State Strutters, the first precision dance team formed at a four-year university and currently the largest in the nation. I held a leadership position as a line officer for the team of over 100 girls for 2 years. During my time on the team, I performed in San Antonio, Dallas, Paris, and New York in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

After graduating from college I started working at Barnhart Interests, but was missing dance. Soon after, I got a job at Houston Dance Works teaching Dance part time and worked there for 5 years. During COVID I decided to go for my dream of teaching dance full time and began the process of getting my teaching certification.

I am currently the Assistant Dance Team Director at Clear Brook High School. I am extremely passionate about the art of dance and believe that it is more than just a class, but a way to express yourself while also improving discipline and character. I thoroughly enjoy educating the next generation of dancers and hope they fall in love with it as I did.
